We are going virtual this year!  COVID-19 has necessitated a change but it cannot stop the show.  Camp this year will take place August 10th-14th from 10:00am-2:00pm via Zoom.

Registration is now open for the 2019 East of the River Career Exposure Camp!  Join us for our 9th year of introducing students to STEAM based careers.  Camp will take place August 5th – 9th & 12th – 16th at the DC Dream Center (2826 Q Street SE, Washington, DC 20020).  Pre-registration is required due to limited capacity.  The camp program is free to attend and will cover careers in architecture, media, and entrepreneurship among others.

We are also pleased to announce, beginning this summer we will be in a new home at the newly constructed DC Dream Center!  The DC Dream Center is the result of a new partnership between The Southeast White House and the National Community Church that will provide a new facility for programs that were previously held at The Southeast White House, plus the opportunity to provide additional programming for the community.  The DC Dream Center is located around the corner from The Southeast White House at 28th Place and Q Street SE.

Also, we are excited to begin a monthly Career Exposure Camp program that will continue throughout the year!  Stay tuned for additional details.

Looking for something for your middle school student to do in August before school starts?  You’re just in luck.  The 2014 East of the River Career Exposure Camp still has a few spaces available for its 2014 session beginning August 4th and ending August 8th.  Join us for the 4th year of our unique program as we explore career opportunities in Architecture, Aviation, and Banking.
